#1 Hand/Finger Size
This one is pretty straightforward. If you are an adult with full grown hands, you may find a larger fingerboard is more comfortable. If you are shopping for a kid or have smaller hands, a smaller deck may be easier to navigate.
#2 Skill Level
Are you just starting out on your fingerboarding journey? If so, you may want to go with a smaller deck to make it easier to perform tricks. As you get more comfortable and start to progress, you can graduate to a larger deck. On the other hand, if you're a seasoned fingerboarder looking for a new challenge, a larger deck may be the way to go.
#3 Tricks
Different sized decks can be better suited for certain tricks. Smaller decks may be more suitable for flip tricks, while larger decks may be better for grinds and slides.
