About

Who We Are

What's up! We are Keaton and Pierson, the founders of Shred Haus (formerly Shred Deck). We are two young dads that love traveling, action sports, and adventure. We met while volunteering for our church in Germany 8 years ago and have been great friends ever since.

Today, now accompanied by our wives and daughters, we continue to love road tripping, traveling through Europe, and action sports.

Why We Started

We originally started making fingerboards before making the real deal. Pierson grew up in Northern Utah while Keaton grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada - both far from the beach. Growing up, Keaton would take long roadtrips to Newport Beach, CA to surf. He and his friends would pass the time jamming in the car and "penny surfing" out the window, bringing about the idea for finger surfboards later in life.

In school, we saw Tech Decks EVERYWHERE. Skating is cool, but where was surfing represented? Why not make a cool, fun, collectable toy surfboard you can take anywhere? So after a few months of modeling and tinkering with our designs during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Shred Haus was born.

As we continued to interact and grow with the surf/skate communities, we knew we wanted to start making our own cruisers or surf skates. Visiting a local skate shop in Switzerland gave birth to the idea of up-cycling snowboards into longboards.
